Another HUGE mistake I noticed that changed my life was noticing the misinterpretation of the word “Success”...
People most commonly think it means working to obtain what someone else has determined it to be. Success is not determined by the outside world. It is determined by the individual. Only you can create your conclusion of what success is, and most people are capable of bringing it into reality once they figure it out.
The time you invest in expanding your knowledge, working/thinking outside the norm, growing, hell anything revolving around your goals to become successful.
When you work a job, you usually have to start somewhere near the bottom of the company before you can move up, right? This usually takes time, some longer than others. Is becoming successful any different? You have to learn, grow, make mistakes, reach milestones, everything is the same.
So, don’t give up. Give what you want to have an actual chance to succeed. Invest the time and resources, the proper energy, have the right attitude to give the situation it’s best chance. Starting with your attitude, you have to believe in the possibility of whatever it is you want to be successful at before there is ever a chance. Simply the thought of possibility has made some of the world’s most important inventions and outcomes turn into real life everyday things you probably couldn't live without right now.
Another saying that sticks with me is, “If there is a will, there’s a way!”
If you have the drive, the attitude and the will to make something happen, chances are there is not much standing in your way next to finances and knowledge. However, the knowledge can make you money which solves that problem right there.
You have to be willing to do things, be a part of something and stay engaged in it. Learn the ins and outs of what you want to do, or learn enough to make enough to hire someone who does…
Point being is...with time, as long as you invest what is needed to reach the goal, you probably won’t have too big of an issue accomplishing it. At the end of the day, you have to think differently when you look at a problem and you have to deploy your solutions until one works. Failure does not mean the end to something doesn’t work. It just means either you didn't do it right this particular time or you missed something along the way. All you have to do is evaluate, identify the problem, correct and try again using the “Assumed” corrected solution. Good luck!!
